As a former music manager, may I add that you can ruin your career by being inconsiderate. There is a huge difference between being polite and being considerate - as a musician you need to be both. Actually, as a human you need to be.
But sticking to music - realize that early in your career you probably have a lot of people helping you for little or no money. They are investing in your potential. Being inconsiderate ensures that people lose interest in helping you. Add some alcohol assisted rants to that - and you have a sure fire way to kill your career.

I totally agree that it is far better to book a band rather than a DJ.

The band is much better to create the right mood.

Best regards

You should check out GoNogging.com. Not only can you sell your music and make some extra money, but you can get more exposure to your music as well. Also on GoNogging.com, there is a section called "requests" where people post jobs that they need completed, often there are requests for a jingle or song to be created, and with the creation of that jingle or song they pay you. Something to look into! :)

Thanks for the mention and the kind words! We really are trying to help musicians reach stores, let them go as far as their music can take them.

If you've any questions about TuneCore or the industry as a whole, feel free to write me.

Thanks again!
