Miley’s  schedule has been very very busy for the past 2 years. This year is no different for the Hannah Montana super teen star. She will be celebrating her sweet sixteen birthday and honoring youth volunteers at Disney Land. This event will prove to be an incredible birthday for Miley while helping to raise awareness for the importance of youth volunteers.

Miley is up for ‘Best New Artist” at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. She will also be part of a very talented group, hosting the Video Music Awards later on this year. In 2003 before the Iraq Invasion Natalie Maines said during a concert “Just so you know, we’re ashamed the President of the United States is from Texas.” After her quote reaches the media, she came under criticism for three reasons, first they said she shouldn’t criticize a nation’s leader while on foreign soil, second she should criticize a countries military leader before a war, and third she shouldn’t make political statements that might upset their politically conservative base.

Despite the controversy over the group’s political statements, their Top of the World Tour still made headlines and was a success.

Bowmer, the festival was officially launched on July 2, 1935. Bowmer’s idea is to create a festival in conjunction with the city’s Fourth of July celebration. An event that has been gaining worldwide notoriety is the Burning Man Project. Founded by Larry Harvey and Jerry James in 1986, it started as an annual fire party at Baker Beach in San Francisco. This event began with a humble group of friends and now grew to a community of 25,000 people. There are different descriptions of this event… Some say it’s Art festival, some would describe it as music festival, and others a social experiment. The Fray Concert Tickets

In 2002, Isaac Slade and Joe King, two former school friends, met up again in a local music store. They soon began regular two-man jam sessions that led to writing songs and devising a style pitched between the arena-friendly style of U2 and the Triple-A rock of bands like Counting Crows and also Coldplay. Rounding out the lineup with two former bandmates of Slade’s (drummer ), The Fray began playing shows in the Denver area. They chose the name “The Fray” for the band as a joke, since the members of the band frequently quarrelled over the composition of the lyrics in their songs.
